Tactical Grips

Because the material is thin and malleable the grips will feel great from the start. With usage the material will form to your hand. Chalk is optional.

For best results follow this rule:

CLEAN BAR = No chalk on grips

CHALK ON BAR = Chalk on grips

These grips are extremely grippy when used in a chalk free situation (clean bar and clean grips). To avoid lock up (excess material becoming wedged between the bar and your palm) and to avoid injury follow these recommendations.

Let go instead of sliding off the bar, 'with great grip comes great responsibility'. What keeps you locked onto the bar is also what will stop you coming off.

Always use first in a warm up setting or a skill setting first, before jumping into a workout. And certainly before competing. These grips will transform all of your gymnastics movements, but may need time to adjust if you're not used to just how grippy they are.

When performing movements such as muscle ups you will need to learn to relax/open your hands at the top. Do not over grip at the top of the skill and avoid pushing the excess material towards the palm with your fingers and/or thumb.

*We do not recommend using these grips in a chalk free situation for pullovers. If you insist on using these grips for pullovers, chalk the bar AND the grips to create less friction on the bar. Again remembering to open the hand as you rotate around the top of the bar.

The strap should be worn up against the wrist, snug at the bottom of the palm. The top edge of the Freedom Grips should come just past the fingertips when gripping the bar. Anything more than an inch past your fingertips is excessive and can be dangerous causing grip lock.

General Care: Hand wash or use a delicate machine cycle-detergent only-then air dry.

Spot Cleaning: Wipe down the black rubber side with either straight white vinegar or rubbing alcohol to strip off any residue.

Our grips should be replaced every 4 to 6 months, based on average use. Please note, your intensity and volume of training may impact the life of your grips. While our grips are durable, we advise you to prioritize safety as your grips age.

Grips are eligible for exchange or return within 60 days of purchase providing the grips are in original packaging and unworn (free of chalk, water, dirt, sweat or any other substance).

Applicable refund or exchange shipment will be processed once the original order is received by Victory Grips. If processing an exchange, there is no charge for the shipment of the exchange. We stand behind our product and care about our customers. If your grips are damaged from normal use within 45 days of purchase, please contact us for a replacement at customersupport@victorygrips.com.

Use of grips on bars with tape, wax or other grip enhancing product is not considered normal use and voids the warranty. 2 and 3 finger grips are designed to be worn utilizing the finger holes only, not flapped over the bar, failure to use the finger holes voids the warranty.

If an issue occurs outside of this time frame and you think your situation is unique please contact us at customersupport@victorygrips.com. We will work with you.
